Step 1 - Lime Yellow Square: Solar Consciousness
Color: brilliant, acidic lime yellow. Practice: sit 20 minutes daily; hold a soft gaze on plain white paper; when the lime yellow appears, rest attention there. Purpose: solar consciousness activation - intellectual clarity, an emerging mental will, and the dissolution of mundane awareness. Verification: increasing mental clarity and decisiveness, warmth in the solar plexus, strengthened digestive fire; colors first flicker, then hold as a clear sustained yellow, and finally become accessible off the paper. Duration: 2-4 weeks for the first stable appearance; 1-3 months for full integration. Constitutional adaptations - Electric (Vata): warm environment, gentle gaze, extra grounding; Magnetic (Kapha): cool environment, focused attention; Neutral (Pitta): moderate environment, balanced approach.
Step 2 - Bright Green Square: Heart Consciousness
Color: illuminated emerald / bright green. Practice: continue the daily gazing meditation and add heart-centered work - loving-kindness, gratitude cultivation, forgiveness practice, and compassion for all beings. Purpose: heart consciousness activation - compassion arising, emotional purification, and the integration of wisdom with love. Verification: deepening empathy, spontaneous compassion, warmth in the heart, and improving relationships. Duration: 2-4 weeks after the yellow stabilizes; 1-3 months for full integration. Constitutional adaptations - Electric: manage anxiety, extend the exhale; Magnetic: build slowly, maintain stability; Neutral: allow intensity to soften.
Step 3 - Orange Square: Creative Fire and Equanimity
Color: vibrant orange - neither aggressive red nor passive yellow. Practice: daily meditation; recognize desire as it arises without acting automatically; transform it through breath and awareness; channel the energy into creative service. Purpose: refine creative fire and purify sexual energy so desire is transfigured - neither suppressed nor indulged - and action flows from wisdom. Verification: a sustainable flow of creativity, desire acknowledged without compulsion, vital sexual energy without automaticity, will harmonized with wisdom. Duration: 2-3 weeks after green; 2-4 months of cumulative foundation practice. Constitutional adaptations - Electric: channel into single projects, ground frequently; Magnetic: activate daily, move energy physically; Neutral: cool with meditation, balance drive with rest.
