Correction, 12 August 2026. The service-provider list further down this page is out of date and was wrong. It names WordPress.com as the host and Google Analytics as a processor. Neither is true, and neither ever was true of this platform.

The companies that actually touch your data are: Vercel (hosting and content delivery), Cloudflare (DNS, edge and firewall), Supabase (database, sign-in, file storage and serverless functions — almost everything we hold about you lives here), Proton Mail (our contact address and the relay that sends account email), Google (only if you choose to sign in with a Google account), and Anthropic (which composes the answers in Ask the Catalogue).

There is no analytics tag on this site. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no session recorder, no third-party tracker of any kind. Our analytics are a single table in our own database recording page views and a random session key.

Two things you should know about Ask the Catalogue. Your question is sent to Anthropic as you typed it — please treat Ask like a search box rather than a diary. And if you have taken the assessment, your constitutional type is sent with it, so answers can be shaped to you.

Payments and print-on-demand are not switched on. Stripe, PayPal and Printful are configured but inert; no payment has ever been taken and no order has ever shipped. Sentry error monitoring is likewise wired and dormant.

Where we record that you came from. If you arrive through a link that carries campaign information — an advertisement, a newsletter, a post — we record that information against the same random session key described above: the source, the campaign, the referring site, and the click identifier the ad platform attaches. It stays in our own database and is sent nowhere. We keep it so we can tell which of our own efforts actually reach people, and so the figures can be checked against what the ad platforms themselves report. If you later create an account, the FIRST such record is attached to it, so we know what brought you; deleting your account deletes that link.

We also record pages that could not be found, with the path and the referring page, so broken links can be repaired. No visitor is identified in that log.

You can now take your data or erase it yourself, from your account page, without asking us. Paid order records are kept as tax records with your name removed. Questions you asked in Ask the Catalogue are retained for quality and safety review — they carry no link to your account, and cannot be traced back to you, which is also why they cannot be individually deleted.

Note: Payment information is processed securely by third-party processors; we do not store full credit card numbers.

Event Registration — If you register for workshops, webinars, or gatherings, we may collect: Name and contact information; Accessibility needs or dietary restrictions (in-person events); Emergency contact information (in-person events only).

Job Applications and Volunteer Inquiries — If you express interest in contributing to our work, we may collect: Contact information; Relevant experience and skills; References (with your permission); Work samples or portfolio materials.

3.2 Community Members (With Your Consent)

Public posts, comments, and contributions you make in community spaces; Information you choose to share in your profile or bio; Content you explicitly mark as shareable. We encourage the use of pseudonyms in public-facing community spaces.

3.3 Legal Requirements

The Collective Press supports pseudonymous participation for both authors and community members. We recognize that: Some individuals require anonymity for safety or personal reasons; Consciousness work and healing often involve vulnerability; Pseudonymous contribution has a long and honored tradition. Our Commitment: We will not attempt to de-anonymize pseudonymous users; We will resist legal requests for unmasking except under court order; We support the use of privacy-enhancing technologies (e.g., encrypted email, Tor).

7.2 Sensitive Information

We do not require disclosure of health conditions, trauma history, or spiritual experiences; If you choose to share sensitive information in community spaces, consider doing so pseudonymously; We will moderate community spaces to prevent exploitation or inappropriate probing of personal information; Confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in group or public settings—share mindfully.

7.3 Minor Users (Children Under 13)

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Parents/Guardians: If you believe your child has provided us with information, contact us immediately at contact@thecollectivepress.org.

7.4 International Users

Our Services are operated in the United States. If you access our Services from outside the US: Your information may be transferred to and stored in the US; US privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction; By using our Services, you consent to this transfer. European Union Users: While we are not currently subject to GDPR (as a US-based organization serving primarily US users), we respect GDPR principles and offer similar privacy protections.
